Ceramic Fiber Mastic (also called Coating) is mixture of refractory fiber, silica binder, and filler with a sticky consistency, providing a hard surfaced, low thermal conductivity insulation after drying. The mixture is ideal for applications such as vacuum formed shapes, coatings, metal stud protection (as in ceramic cup-lock anchors), and for patching refractory cracks and fissures.
Good bonding with fiber
Good resistance to chemical attack
Resist the thermal current scouring
Applications: Protection for fiber lining surface of furnaces
Protection for lining surface of velocity flame furnaces
